I’ve mentioned before I believe this virus will be largely managed by next year, having believed for some time that 2023 is our next free and easy time here. I kinda wonder if I will be proven to be full of shit there eventually, but at this point I’m still practicing better safe than sorry. I still wonder why we haven’t tested out changing the virus ourselves in some manner–combining it with something that would offset the larger issues. That’s been something I have played with for some time–the idea that if the virus were to be combined with something that would make it weaker, that might be a solution. I am sure I am not the only one, though let’s all recall the military has apparently made a vaccine to counter ALL coronaviruses so who is going to put that out and why don’t we have it?
I have no idea, but I can tell you with I-am-more-than-sure-certainty that the people no longer wearing masks have mostly all had COVID. I don’t want to survey anyone, of course, but I would bet most of the people who are running mask-free, I’m talking at least 90% have had COVID so why would we trust their wants over those who never get with regards to virus mitigation? We wouldn’t–but I will guarantee you the conversation will be one we have a lot of later on when we have a chunk of the population with ruined health, some because they listened to the wrong people, some who just weren’t medically versed enough to understand what it does, and some who I guess just deserved it because there was no chance they were going to evolve or adapt a thing. Once again, let’s point out that the vaccine was just TRAINING for your body to fight and identify this virus. Once again, let’s point out that we used AI in COVID vaccine development and virus identification so this whole rushed to the market narrative is not exactly accurate–I would bet there were far more tests and trials on this with all of these new technologies we have at our fingertips with this one versus previous versions of vaccine.
I was in Target yesterday picking up my medicine–I know, I know, I really shouldn’t be, and I will be changing that to a GoodRX option soon I am sure of it–but I had my chest clearly exposed with its multiple open heart surgery scars because I was maybe one person representing about 10% of us in that store with masks. I caught a few people staring at my face, then my chest, and I could see the recognition. Part of me wanted to say yes, you are an asshole, and now there’s no question–but then I realize getting COVID is the reward for those who don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves. Again, not the snotty reward some expected, claiming some kind of pure blood, but those “pure-blood” people are just people who likely do not have enough protection to survive in the modern era. Again, we had version 1 of SARS which did some of the shit COVID has done, version 2 which is COVID which is still doing terrible shit to our bodies. And whatever new version coming likely won’t be kinder than the first two. I just did a search of did SARS make people less susceptible to COVID and found this article, suggesting that people who do survive COVID would likely have some immunity to future COVID variants which clearly has been proven largely incorrect with people getting infected multiple times in some cases. The point is, COVID is going to be a part our permanent vocabulary just like the flu every year, because we gave it SO many hosts to replicate and evolve in that it is just everywhere. JFC I keep almost expecting that I will get it, but I just keep on blasting those Medify filters those seem to be working beautifully even through a blossoming Spring out there. CORONABALONA15 for a small discount on the things. Again, this is something I found through my own personal experiences and searches early on for fire air and coronavirus.
