The burden of medical debt in the United States
https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/brief/the-burden-of-medical-debt-in-the-united-states/

So the only thing I would like to personally note on these article shares is one apt point on the last article quoted below. I know, I’ve alluded to the medical debt coming for millions-peer this:

We find that 23 million people (nearly 1 in 10 adults) owe significant medical debt. The SIPP survey suggests people in the United States owe at least $195 billion in medical debt. Approximately 16 million people (6% of adults) in the U.S. owe over $1,000 in medical debt and 3 million people (1% of adults) owe medical debt of more than $10,000. Medical debt occurs across demographic groups. But, people with disabilities, those in worse health, and poor or near-poor adults are more likely to owe significant medical debt

Do you even understand what that says at all? 23 million from 3 years ago, pre-pandemic. That’s it?!?!?! Now we just added on 4x that in people who have had infections that were documented–what about all the other people who were infected but didn’t tell anyone? Yeah, Add this factor onto the fact we have less than 10 million on disability for ALL causes–and fucking negligence just blew up ALL our budgets for things people like to call entitlements. The anger I feel of course is that this is sickness that was entirely avoidable for many–sure I’m not gonna rail against people who got sick in March of 2020 or the months after because people needing to be versed in their own good health is kind of a new thing in this world and country–but the people who have been infected in recent weeks and months–WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!??!!? Sure, you decided you, too were tired of masks, but if you had thought for three seconds about the fact that roughly half the national supply of tests went out (that’s half of 500 million) and there was no mechanism requiring disclosure of a positive, well your brain would lead you to the conclusion people were still out there, positive, while you were running around unmasked.

Still asserting here–we both do not have it. He goes to work every day, fully masked even though masks are voluntary now. I wear masks in every public space. I double up in high concentration areas. I still have all my tests, 6, we never have had to break out. This is because I am consistent and fully aware we have a virus running around that will handicap a fucking PERCENTAGE. I am sorry for saying fucking so much, but WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG with you guys? How do you see all the same shit I do and not make the same conclusions?

No idea. I’m still in appeal from Twitter but nobody is going to go ranting about where my account is or talk about how I am in Twitmo because I am out here doing this of my own good and free will. I do not get a lot of positive re-enforcement from really any of you. But–I just can’t not TRY to help guide people away from health disaster because I live this life. Again, I haven’t done any advertising on any of my sites, no banner ads anywhere. I am just trying my best to fucking help people. At this point I don’t even know if anyone is going to notice, they might not let me have my account back for that tweet. Let me illustrate again my “abusive tweet” someone whose feelings I hurt with the truth reported me for this. Yes, shocking given the shit have written me I never reported, but, hey the right to not be offended continues to get closer and closer to being legislated.
